Job summary

Closets by Design is seeking a Carpentry/Installer Helper to assist Lead Installers with on-site installation of our custom closets and related products. You will work with hand and power tools to ensure safety, quality, and productive installations.

This role emphasizes customer service, problem-solving, and clear communication. The company offers an apprenticeship program with mentorship toward becoming a lead installer, paid training, and a Monday–Friday schedule with health benefits.

Qualifications

• Be a strong problem solver.
• Good with tools and working with hands.
• Strong customer service.
• Possess and maintain current driver’s license and operate company vehicle safely.
• Closet/garage/office installation experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong personal organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installers with installation of products on site.

We currently have the Carpentry/Installer Helper position available.

Carpentry/Installer Helpers assist Lead Installers with installation of products in a safe, high quality, productive, and profitable fashion. Demonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction by communicating what is necessary in a genuinely friendly and professional fashion. Operate company vehicle, tools, etc. in a safe manner.
