Job summary

JES Holdings seeks an experienced trades professional to perform capital improvement projects across the Columbia region. The role requires driving to company locations, and occasional overnight stays to support major renovations and rehabs.

The ideal candidate has advanced building trades knowledge, the ability to read drawings, and a proven track record with necessary hand/power tools. Responsibilities include ensuring safety and attending regional trainings as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building trades – Advanced.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, instructions and specifications.
• Proven operation of equipment and tools needed for the role; Must have own hand and power tools.
• Must Have Current Driver’s License, Vehicle, and Insurance.
• Must Pass Background Check and Periodic Drug Testing.
• Must Be Willing to Travel and Stay Overnight.

Responsibilities

• Perform capital improvement projects including rough and trim carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall repair and finishing, painting and janitorial related to major renovations and rehabs.
• Travel to company locations as needed with reliable transportation.
• Travel Monday–Friday approximately 75% of the time; weekends at home.
• Follow safe work practices.
• Travel to and participate in regional and corporate training and/or conferences as required.

This role involves travel throughout the Columbia region. Overnight travel required.

1. Performs capital improvement projects to include rough and trim carpentry, plumbing, drywall repair and finishing, electrical, masonry, painting and janitorial related to major renovations and rehabs – Advanced.

2. Possess reliable transportation and be able to drive to company-owned locations as needed.

3. Travel Monday-Friday approximately 75% of the time. Home on the weekends.

4. Follows safe work practices.

5. Travels to, and participate in, both regional and corporate training and/or conferences as required.
