Job summary

Morton Buildings is seeking construction crew members to join our employee-owned teams. Under supervision, you will learn and apply safety and construction procedures while building post-frame structures across the United States.

Responsibilities include reading plans, using various tools, and completing tasks such as footings, framing, doors, siding, and roofing. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction, post-frame or carpentry preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete training.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to work 9–10 hours during peak season; capable of lifting 50–100 lbs.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% including overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings.
• Perform tasks such as footings, framing, installing doors, siding, roofing, and trims.
• Collaborate safely with crew to maintain a productive work environment.
