Job summary

The Norfolk Companies in New England leads in custom cabinetry and showroom installations. We seek a seasoned finish carpenter to lead installation, own quality control, and mentor apprentices, elevating craftsmanship across projects.

With 10+ years in finish carpentry and a passion for exacting standards, you will supervise crews on showroom and residential sites, work with designers and clients, and represent The Norfolk Companies with professional rigor.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of carpentry, custom cabinet installation, or finish carpentry experience.
• Proven ability to lead and train other carpenters.
• Deep experience with high-end or custom finish carpentry.
• Reads plans fluently, no hand-holding required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• OSHA 10 Certification is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of custom cabinetry, countertops, and finish carpentry on showroom and residential projects.
• Own quality control and final walkthroughs for your crew's work.
• Mentor and train Apprentices, Level 1, and Mid-Level Carpenters.
• Solve complex fit-and-finish challenges independently.
• Be the go-to expert that Designers, Project Managers, and clients trust on site.
