Job summary

Hy-Vee Construction seeks a Carpenter II to join our Field Operations team. You will complete commercial buildouts, including framing, drywall, ceilings, painting, and decor, and install store fixtures.

Travel weekly Monday through Thursday is expected, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship. Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma with 1-2 years in the field and possess a valid driver's license, DOT medical card, and OSHA 10 certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 1-2 years in the field.
• DOT medical card and OSHA 10 required.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel weekly.

Responsibilities

• Complete commercial buildouts including framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, painting, millwork, décor.
• Assemble and install store fixtures.
• Initiate work with minimal direction.
• Maintain PPE and safety compliance.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and punctuality.
