Qualifications

• Carpentry experience in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job site within the Southeast.
• Night shift (open store environment).
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans to execute construction tasks accurately.
• Measure, cut, install building materials such as wood, drywall, framing, and other components.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, managing tools and materials responsibly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site construction issues promptly and effectively.
• Assist in the supervision of junior team members and subcontractors as needed.

• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site construction issues promptly and effectively.

Hourly compensation plus per diem and mileage. Lodging covered by McCrory.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in commercial construction environments.

• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform demanding manual tasks
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
• Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., OSHA certification) are a plus.
