Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding our construction crews and employee owners. Salary is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience, with an additional $2000 first year bonus and a $500 quarterly retention bonus during the first year.

The ESOP and other benefits highlight our employee-owned culture. Under supervision of the crew foreman, you will read plans, use tools to build post-frame structures, work 9–10 hour days during peak season, and travel up to 30% including possible overnight

Qualifications

• Experience in post-frame construction or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Available to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Ability to take direction and produce quality work safely.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings.
• Dig and install footings, frame walls/roofs, install windows/doors, and finish with siding/roofing.
• Work safely with others, maintaining a respectful environment.
