Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews and employee owners. As a leader in post-frame construction with 120 years in business, we operate plants and centers nationwide, building thousands of new structures.

Under the crew foreman, you will learn safety procedures, read and build from plans, use a range of tools, and contribute to a productive, respectful work environment. 50% travel is required, with demanding physical work and steady pay progression.

Qualifications

• Building construction (post-frame), carpentry or framing experience preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Available to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season.
• Possess good communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Travel up to 50% including overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety procedures and standards.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Perform tasks such as digging footings, framing, installing doors/windows, and siding/roofing.
• Collaborate with crew to maintain a safe, productive work environment.
