Job summary

This role requires prior structural concrete experience and a safety- and quality-focused leadership mindset to supervise commercial interior carpentry. Healthcare project experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible commercial construction and carpentry experience.
• Healthcare or hospital construction experience required.
• Experience with structural concrete is required.
• Well-rounded interior carpentry experience (wall protection, casework, drywall framing, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate construction crews.
• Strong commitment to jobsite safety, workmanship and quality.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for working safely and maintaining an incident- and injury-free culture.
• Coordinate, direct, and lead crews engaged in construction activities.
• Plan and assign work based on schedules, materials, and labor needs.
• Supervise crews to maintain safety, quality, productivity and morale.
• Ensure work complies with plans, specs, and healthcare infection-control requirements.
• Identify and communicate project priorities and potential delays to leadership.
• Coordinate with estimators on labor hours and material needs.
• Review and submit employee timesheets.
• Communicate maintenance needs for tools and equipment.
• Ensure safety training and policy compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
