Meyers Construction Co Inc is seeking a Carpenter Apprentice to learn on field sites, assisting experienced carpenters with framing, finishing, remodeling, and restoration. Qualifications

• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to jobsites.
• Basic understanding of fundamental construction tools, materials, and safety concepts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work safely at heights or outdoors.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn through hands-on work.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead carpenters with framing, finishing, remodeling, and damage restoration.
• Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and components with precision under supervision.
• Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and materials for site efficiency.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely following OSHA standards.
• Prepare and maintain clean, organized, hazard-free work environments.
• Assist with installation of doors, windows, cabinetry, trim, drywall, and structural elements.
• Participate in on-the-job training toward skilled carpenter roles.
