Carpenter
Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Carpenter to join our Tenant Service Team with strong carpenter skillsets and abilities to support the maintenance requests at the Experimental Station in Wilmington, DE for the DuPont FS&RE Function.
Overview:
Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Supervisor. Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities. Knowledge of residential and commercial construction along with remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control. Proficient at the following tasks: stain-grade trim work, hang doors, drill and set door hardware, set windows, layout for stairs and common rafters, utilize appropriate math skills. Able to read blueprints. Mathematical skills and analytical skills necessary to do material estimates. Ability to move materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. Builds and erects a broad range of structures in support of construction and maintenance activities.

Completes records, maintains equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed. Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience.
