WoodMaster Portable Buildings, a division of Tuff Shed, industry leader in storage buildings, is currently seeking a Carpenter - Painting/Trim at our plant in Bastrop, TX. We are looking for motivated, team-oriented individuals!

The Carpenter, Painting/Trim, based at our manufacturing plant in Bastrop, TX, is responsible for constructing, assembling, and ensuring the quality of wooden structures through precise measurement, cutting, and assembly, while adhering to safety, quality, and customer specifications.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Installing and repairing molding and trim on windows, doors, baseboards, mantels, and other ornamental pieces.
• Applying precise measurement and cutting techniques to ensure a seamless, aesthetic finish.
• Reading and interpreting complex blueprints and building plans.
• Using hand and power tools such as squares, rules, and chisels.
• Working with materials like wood, vinyl, fiberglass, and metal.
• Fitting and installing window frames and interior/exterior trim using a carpenter's level.
• Finishing wood surfaces with paint and hand tools.
• Verifying structure trueness with a carpenter's level.
• Wearing appropriate protective gear and following safety procedures.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
• Assisting with other carpentry-related duties in the manufacturing plant, including erecting siding, electrical work, flooring, framing, press/raftering, ramps/accessories, roofing, small structures, trusses, and vinyl work.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to perform painting tasks.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly over a distance of 100 feet.
