Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare setting is advantageous (minimum 6 months).
• Certification: AHA BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients entering the physician practice and manage front desk interactions.
• Answer office phones, schedule and confirm appointments, and reschedule as needed.
• Check in patients, collect demographics, and verify insurance in the electronic system.
• Assist in checkout, referrals, and scheduling processes; collect co-pays and post charges.
• Handle billing tasks like charge entry and patient balance processing.
• Distribute information about office policies and patient portal enrollment.
