Job summary

Elm Management is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to ensure residents have clean, fresh clothing and linens. You will collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry while following sanitation and safety procedures in a healthcare setting.

This role requires standing and performing repetitive tasks; prior experience in laundry or housekeeping is preferred but not required. You will work with staff to deliver clean items and maintain organized laundry areas following infection control

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, organized and detail-oriented.
• Must be able to follow instructions and established safety procedures.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collect and sort resident clothing, linens and towels.
• Operate washers and dryers safely and efficiently.
• Wash, dry, fold and organize laundry.
• Return clean items to residents or designated areas.
• Deliver clean linens to resident rooms and facilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
• Follow infection control and sanitation procedures.
