Job summary

EHM Senior Solutions is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to support our residents by ensuring timely, clean linen delivery and garment care. You will sort, wash, and inspect items, then fold and distribute them to designated areas with attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines.

In this role, you will maintain the laundry area, follow health regulations, and assist with inventory while delivering respectful service to residents and staff in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
• Physical stamina to stand and perform repetitive tasks for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and wash laundry items including linens, towels, and residents' personal clothing.
• Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and report issues to supervisor.
• Fold, organize, and distribute clean laundry to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying shortages.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide exceptional service to residents and staff by responding to requests and concerns.
