Job summary

Extended Care LLC is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to support our resident-centered environment by ensuring clean linens and personal items are properly laundered and distributed across the facility. You will collect, wash, dry, fold, and redistribute laundry while upholding high sanitation standards.

You will work with a caring team to maintain OSHA compliance, follow safety procedures, and assist with daily housekeeping duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work semi-independently while following facility procedures.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and frequent interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and redistribute laundry throughout the facility.
• Ensure the community remains in compliance with OSHA requirements and risk management policies.
• Follow all safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and compliance with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) regulations.
• Handle potential exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases while following proper precautions.
• Work collaboratively as part of the housekeeping and laundry team.
• Ensure clean linens and personal items are properly washed, dried, folded, and distributed.
• Follow all facility policies and procedures to maintain cleanliness and safety.
