Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Dining Service Associate to perform a range of dining operations, ensure sanitary dining areas, and assist in food preparation and service. The role emphasizes adherence to recipes, temperature controls, and safety protocols for residents and staff in a housing/community setting.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, and resident preference cards.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members.
• Must be willing to receive a Hepatitis A vaccine per county health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined dining service routines using utensils, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist with dining service setup, beverage prep, salads, desserts, and ensure proper temperatures and timely service.
• Assist with dining room setup, table setting, buffets, and serving residents.
• Assist with cleaning duties to maintain sanitation and organization in dining areas.
• Receive and store food and supplies; follow safety protocols and report hazards.
• Maintain HACCP logs, record product usage and waste, and document required information.
• Follow infection control procedures and proper PPE usage.
