Tennessee State Veterans' Homes in Humboldt, TN is seeking a Dietary Aide (PRN) to assist in food preparation, dining room setup, and timely meal service for residents. You will help ensure quality dining experiences and maintain clean, safe food service areas within a skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a dietary environment at a large establishment; health care experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in long-term care or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in quantities per menu and number of residents.
• Set up dining room as instructed; prepare items like salads and beverages.
• Take resident orders and serve meals in a timely manner.
• Clean resident areas, work areas, equipment, and utensils per procedures.
• Assist in activities with residents and interact with staff and providers.
