Job summary

Creative Corrections is seeking a Caribbean Program Advisor for a contract role in Washington, DC. The advisor will provide programmatic development and oversight to INL/WHP teams, coordinating meetings, drafting plans, and supporting implementation across Caribbean and South America regions.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, 4–6 years of relevant experience, and a Secret security clearance (interim allowed).

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., international affairs, public policy, security studies).
• Four to six years of relevant experience in program management, security, or international development.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders in writing and verbally.
• Experience drafting U.S. Government reports, briefing materials, or official communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for Caribbean/South America programs and projects.
• Research regional security developments and monitor program implementation.
• Assist in maintaining project files, reporting, and communication with posts and partners.
• Track program budgets, pipelines, and funding obligations.
• Support budgeting, contracting, grants, and interagency agreements; coordinate fund obligations.
• Prepare program documentation, reports, and briefings for leadership and committees.
• Assist with background materials and congressional/oversight documentation.
