Job summary

Creative Corrections is actively recruiting exceptional candidates to be considered for a Program Advisor position located in Washington, DC. This will be a contract role within the U.S. Department of State.

The Department leads diplomacy and sets security priorities for the United States. The Advisor will develop cases, draft memos, coordinate with posts and interagency partners, and support sanctions and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Four to six years’ experience in relevant field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of international narcotics, law enforcement, or related programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide range of players.
• Experience drafting government reports and documents.

Responsibilities

• Support visa restrictions, sanctions, and rewards actions directed at high-level corrupt officials, narcotraffickers, and transnational criminal organizations.
• Draft analysis documents and memoranda for cases in coordination with stakeholders.
• Research and apply best practices to improve processes and timelines.
• Coordinate with U.S. overseas posts, other agencies, and NGOs.
• Develop training modules and draft Congressional reporting and testimonies.
