Job summary

Creative Corrections, Washington, DC, is seeking a Program Advisor for a contracted role with the U.S. Department of State. The incumbent will conduct research, develop case files, coordinate with posts, bureaus, and interagency partners, and prepare senior leadership memos and congressional reports.

The position requires a bachelor's degree, 2–4 years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 2–4 years’ relevant field experience.
• Knowledge of international narcotics, law enforcement, or similar programs.
• Understanding of Federal policies and budgeting processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience drafting U.S. government reports and documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop cases through research and analysis, coordinating with posts and interagency partners.
• Draft decision memos for senior leadership and Congressional reports.
• Coordinate with Legal, Consular Affairs Bureaus to ensure prerequisites.
• Engage with U.S. law enforcement and intelligence communities on case referrals.
• Advise on expanding authorities and best practices.
