Job summary

Creative Corrections seeks an International Negotiations Program Advisor to support the INL Front Office in Washington, DC. The role requires coordinating U.S. participation in international negotiations, preparing briefing materials, and coordinating logistics for delegations and meetings with multiple U.S.

agencies. The position demands a Top Secret clearance (interim Secret acceptable to start) and a bachelor’s degree with 4–6 years of relevant experience, plus a strong background in policy

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Four to six years’ experience in a related field is expected.
  • Knowledge of international narcotics, crime policy, or similar programs and compliance with the Foreign Assistance Act.
  • Familiarity with Federal policies and the budget process.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience drafting US government reports and embassy cables.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate U.S. participation in international negotiations at the international and regional level.
  • Prepare briefing materials and organizational documents for negotiations and meetings.
  • Support U.S. delegations to anti-crime and counternarcotics meetings (e.g., UN, G-7, OAS).
  • Liaise with US missions and interagency partners to arrange logistics for meetings and events.
  • Draft congressional testimony, speeches, and interagency documents in line with policy.
  • Prepare position papers and background materials for INL meetings.
