Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking an enthusiastic Bartender to craft cocktails and deliver exceptional service in a high-volume environment at our property. You will follow recipes, maintain bar inventory, and assist with food service to ensure guests have a memorable experience.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of bartending experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• 2 years of bartending experience in high-volume bar or restaurant preferred.
• General knowledge of cocktail crafting and mixology fundamentals.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong communication, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests efficiently following steps of service, prepare cocktails, pour beer and wine, and make beverage recommendations.
• Food running to serve bar and bar area guests.
• Prep and stock bar for service period to ensure successful bar service.
• Clean glasses, tools, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings and ingredients.
• Curate guests’ bar experience based on preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of beverages including beer, wine, and liquor.
• Process payments following proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area and coolers.
