Job summary

Trident Cubed Solutions is seeking a Cargo Planner / Junior Cargo Engineer based in Greater Houston for a full-time hybrid role with a mix of on-site and remote work. You will support cargo engineering and planning for complex onshore and offshore projects, preparing lifting and stowage plans, coordinating transportation, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a background in engineering or maritime studies, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in Autocad

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cargo planning, stowage design, and cargo transportation logistics
• Knowledge of engineering principles related to lifting operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Autocad and Microsoft Office Suite
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within multidisciplinary teams and with clients
• Understanding of industry safety standards and regulations for cargo handling
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or related field preferred
