Air Borealis is seeking a Cargo Support Supervisor to join the Goose Bay, NL team. The role focuses on overseeing cargo procedures, coordinating with cargo agents, and ensuring efficient, compliant operations for both scheduled and charter services.

The ideal candidate has experience in airline cargo, understands Transport Canada regulations, and can work independently or with a team to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in airline operations or related fields.
• Supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cargo handling and Transport Canada regulations.
• Experience improving operational efficiency and safety.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail and quick information processing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate cargo procedures; review and implement new procedures.
• Establish work priorities and delegate to Cargo Agents.
• Ensure deadlines are met and procedures followed.
• Plan cargo services, meet with clients, and follow up by phone.
• Accept customer freight and inquiries; update customer logs.
• Ensure customer needs are satisfied and contribute to marketing strategies.
• Supervise cargo service staff and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Support Amelia cargo and assist coastal agents when needed.
• Handle reconciliations and bank deposits for DSR; review weekly cargo billing.
