Swissport, a global aviation services leader, is hiring a Cargo Warehouse Supervisor in Chicago. You will lead a turnaround/warehouse team, drive safety, security and operational performance, and ensure tasks align with SLAs and company procedures.

The role pays $28.00 per hour, with full-time benefits including health and wellness plans, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, sick time, and holidays. You will coach staff, allocate tasks, and report on activity for invoicing.

Qualifications

• Fluent spoken and written English required.
• 5 years' operational experience in ground handling, cargo, or aircraft fueling services.
• Solid knowledge of safety practices, SOPs and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a turnaround/warehouse team on shift, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Act as on-ground technical expert for tickets and system issues.
• Coach and coordinate the taskforce to meet SLAs and service standards.
• Capture accurate service data for invoicing and reporting.
• Allocate tasks, supervise SOP compliance, and escalate issues as needed.
• Provide work instructions and performance feedback to team members.
• Record daily QHSSE checks and participate in audits.
• Maintain positive relations with staff and customers.
