Job summary

Menzies Aviation LATAM is seeking a Cargo Warehouse Handler in Dallas, Texas. You will receive, store, build-up pallets, breakdown, and distribute freight while following all safety rules. The role requires reading air waybills, operating forklifts, and precise inventory handling.

A current driver’s license, strong English skills, and the ability to lift 75+ pounds are essential, with comprehensive background checks. Rate of pay is $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English; basic math.
• Current driver’s license with no violations in past 5 years.
• Able to lift at least 75 pounds on a continuous basis.
• All hires undergo and pass security clearances (10-year criminal background check), drug screen, and related verifications.

Responsibilities

• Reads air waybill, bills of lading, or freight manifest to determine items to be moved.
• Transports freight from receiving areas to storage or designated areas using forklift or transporter.
• Fills requisitions and distributes items to other locations.
• Opens bales, crates, and containers for breakdown; records counts.
• Weighs and counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to standards.
• Carries out cargo build-up and breakdowns to pallets/ULDs.

Role Purpose

As a member of the Menzies Aviation Cargo Warehouse Handling team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, building up Pallets , braking down , and distributing freight while practicing all Company’s Safety Policy inclusive of, but not limited to: wearing PPE, equipment operation, safe lifting procedures, or obeying speed limits when driving company vehicles and equipment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Reads air waybill, bills of landing, or freight manifest to determine the items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Conveys freight from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas with forklift or transporter
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to other locations
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers for break down. Records count of items received or distributed
• Weighs and counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards and air waybill
• Performs cargo build-up and/or breakdowns, freight to and/or from skid, pallets or ULDs
