Role Purpose

As a member of the Menzies Aviation Cargo Warehouse Handling team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, building up pallets, breaking down, and distributing freight while practicing all Company’s Safety Policy inclusive of, but not limited to: wearing PPE, equipment operation, safe lifting procedures, or obeying speed limits when driving company vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read air waybill, bills of landing, or freight manifest to determine the items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey freight from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas with forklift or transporter.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to other locations.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers for breakdown. Record count of items received or distributed.
• Weigh and count items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards and air waybill.
• Perform cargo build‑up and/or breakdowns, freight to and/or from skid, pallets or ULDs.

What We Are Looking For

• Ability to pass FBI background and obtain US Customs seal.
• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English and perform basic math calculations.
• Must have a current driver’s license with no violations over the past 5 years.
• Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds on a continuous basis.
• All hires are required to undergo and pass security clearances (10‑year criminal background check), 5‑year employment and educational verification, drug screen and physical test.
