Job summary

Generations is seeking part-time caregivers to assist residents at our Somerset Assisted Living facility in Oregon. You will support residents with daily living activities, following care plans with dignity and compassion, under guidance from the leadership team.

Ideal candidates show empathy, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team on Fridays through Sundays 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, with 8-hour shifts. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification – training available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job description

Caregivers at Somerset Assisted Living assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule

• Part-time, working Fridays through Sundays, from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• 8-hour shifts
• Holiday availability preferred

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred, but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification – training is available upon hire.
