Job summary

Right at Home Indianapolis West is seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to provide high-quality in-home care for seniors and vulnerable adults. Shift 1:00-5:00PM with weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and paid training.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and companionship, with opportunities for growth and leadership within the organization. Transportation support and mileage reimbursement are included where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license, HHA, or PCA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and transfers.
• Perform housekeeping such as vacuuming and cleaning.
• Prepare meals and snacks for clients.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and shaving.
• Assist with medication reminders and prescribed exercises.
• Offer companionship through reading, music, and puzzles.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Caregiver, you will perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, including:

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Providing personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and shaving
• Assisting with medication reminders and prescribed exercises
• Providing companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles

Qualifications and Skills

To be a successful Caregiver at Right at Home Indianapolis West, you should:

• Hold a high school graduate or G.E.D. certificate
• Be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• Have a CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification
