Job summary

Right at Home Indianapolis West is seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to provide in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities. You will support daily living activities and help maintain independence in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA, HHA, or PCA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Perform light housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Provide personal care actions such as bathing, dressing, and shaving.
• Assist with medication reminders and prescribed exercises.
• Provide companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Caregiver, you will perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, including:

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Providing personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and shaving
• Assisting with medication reminders and prescribed exercises
• Providing companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles

Qualifications and Skills

To be a successful Caregiver at Right at Home Indianapolis West, you should:

• Hold a high school graduate or G.E.D. certificate
• Be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• Have a CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification
