Job summary

Right at Home Indianapolis West is seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to provide in-home support for seniors and adults with disabilities.

Shift 1:00-5:00 PM. Competitive pay $15-$17 hourly, flexible scheduling, weekly pay, paid training, and mileage reimbursement. Join a team dedicated to making a difference and access to leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Background check required
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Help with transfer/mobility around the home.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal prep.
• Accompany to appointments and errands.
• Provide personal care such as bathing and grooming.
• Offer companionship and monitor well-being.
• Record client progress and report changes.

Responsibilities And Duties

As a Caregiver, you will perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, including:

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Providing personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and shaving
• Assisting with medication reminders and prescribed exercises
• Providing companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles

Qualifications And Skills

To be a successful Caregiver at Right at Home Indianapolis West, you should:

• Hold a high school graduate or G.E.D. certificate
• Be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• Have a CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification
