Job summary

Right at Home Indianapolis West is seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to support seniors and vulnerable adults in their own homes. The role offers 1:00–5:00 PM shifts with weekly pay and flexible scheduling.

Paid training and a recognition program are provided to help you grow with the company. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, can lift 50 lbs, have a valid driver's license with insurance, and can pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license, HHA, or PCA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, transfers, and mobility.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and tidying living areas.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Accompany clients to appointments and run errands.
• Provide personal care like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with medication reminders and prescribed exercises.
• Offer companionship through activities like reading and music.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Caregiver, you will perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, including:

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Providing personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and shaving
• Assisting with medication reminders and prescribed exercises
• Providing companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles

Qualifications and Skills

To be a successful Caregiver at Right at Home Indianapolis West, you should:

• Hold a high school graduate or G.E.D. certificate
• Be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• Have a CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification
