Job summary

Right at Home Indianapolis West is seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to assist seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. The role offers hands-on care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship in a supportive team environment.

Shift 1:00-5:00PM with weekly pay and paid training. Candidates must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance. CNA/HHA/PCA certification is preferred but not required initially.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Background check required.
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities and transfers.
• Perform housekeeping like cleaning and meal prep.
• Accompany to errands or medical appointments.
• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, shaving.
• Support with medication reminders and exercises.
• Offer companionship through activities like reading, music, puzzles.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Caregiver, you will perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, including:

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Providing personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and shaving
• Assisting with medication reminders and prescribed exercises
• Providing companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles

Qualifications and Skills

To be a successful Caregiver at Right at Home Indianapolis West, you should:

• Hold a high school graduate or G.E.D. certificate
• Be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• Have a CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification
