Job summary

Right at Home South Central Michigan is seeking compassionate Caregivers to assist adults in their homes in Jackson, MI. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship, ensuring safety and independence for clients you serve.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA/Home Health Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Help transferring/moving clients between areas of the home.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting and laundry.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Provide companionship activities like reading, music, and puzzles.
