Job summary

Right at Home Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo is seeking experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care across Michigan communities. You’ll follow clear care plans with open communication and the support you need to do your best work.

This role offers flexible scheduling (part-time and full-time), the chance for higher pay on advanced cases, paid training, and mileage reimbursement. You’ll join a team that values skill and compassion while helping clients stay safe and comfortable at home.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving experience
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Support daily needs: meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
• Provide hands-on care for bed‑bound clients, including bathing, repositioning, and hygiene
• Care for clients with dementia, Parkinson’s, and other conditions
• Maintain patience and professionalism, even during challenging situations
