Job summary

Right at Home Jackson is seeking Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to provide in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities in Jackson, Michigan. The role involves supportive personal care, companionship, and mobility assistance in clients homes.

Benefits include paid training, weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and bonuses for referrals. A valid driver's license and auto insurance are preferred; CNA/HHA certification is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid drivers license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing light housekeeping activities (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom)
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments/transportation
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing
• Medication reminders
• Dementia/alzheimer's care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
