Job summary

Right at Home Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo is seeking experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care with clear care plans and strong communication. You’ll support clients with daily activities, medication reminders, and companionship in a respectful environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, reliability, and the ability to adapt to various client needs, including dementia and mobility support.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving experience.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Support daily needs: meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
• Provide hands-on care for bed-bound clients, including bathing, repositioning, and hygiene
• Care for clients with dementia, Parkinson’s, and other conditions
• Maintain patience and professionalism, even during challenging situations
