Job summary

Right at Home Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo is seeking experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care in Kent City, MI and surrounding areas. You’ll follow clear care plans, communicate with clients and families, and have the time and support to deliver quality caregiving.

We offer flexible day and evening shifts, pathways for higher pay on advanced cases, and a supportive team that values your skills and compassion. Driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving experience.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Support daily needs: meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
• Provide hands-on care for bed-bound clients, including bathing, repositioning, and hygiene
• Care for clients with dementia, Parkinson’s, and other conditions
• Maintain patience and professionalism, even during challenging situations
