Job summary

Right at Home Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo seeks experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care with clear care plans and strong communication. You’ll work with clients in their homes, delivering compassionate support and thorough attention to individual care plans.

Flexible daytime and evening shifts are available, with opportunities for higher pay on advanced cases and paid training to support ongoing development.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving experience.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Support daily needs: meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
• Provide hands-on care for bed-bound clients, including bathing, repositioning, and hygiene
• Care for clients with dementia, Parkinson’s, and other conditions
• Maintain patience and professionalism, even during challenging situations
