Job summary

Right at Home Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo is seeking experienced caregivers to provide in-home, one-on-one care with clear care plans and open communication. You will work with clients in Portage, MI, supporting daily living activities and comfort while following detailed care plans.

We offer flexible scheduling (part-time and full-time), opportunities for higher pay on advanced cases, paid travel time, and ongoing training in a supportive team environment where your compassion and skill are

Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving experience.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Support daily needs: meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
• Provide hands-on care for bed-bound clients, including bathing, repositioning, and hygiene.
• Care for clients with dementia, Parkinson’s, and other conditions.
• Maintain patience and professionalism, even during challenging situations.
