Job summary

Standish Village in Boston, MA seeks a Resident Care Associate to provide direct personal care to senior residents. You will join a compassionate team, participate in activities, and help with dining services in a home-like environment.

Certification as a CNA or CHHA is required, along with reliable, punctual work habits and strong communication with residents and co-workers. The role involves standing, bending, and assisting with transfers in a supportive community setting.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

Full Time: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM with every other weekend commitment

Part Time: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM with every other weekend commitment

PAY & BENEFITS:

Rates start at $19 per hour

WHAT OUR RESIDENT CARE ASSOCIATES DO:

• Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care
• Join or lead fun activities of your choice with the residents
• Track care and other tasks with our easy-to-use electronic health record system
• Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services
• Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services, as needed
• Work each day across all of our departments to create an atmosphere of cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)**
• Physical requirements : Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
