Job summary

Cape Cod Senior Residences, part of Senior Living Residences, seeks caring Resident Care Associates to provide direct personal care to senior residents in Bourne, MA. The work environment emphasizes safety, home-like atmosphere, and respect, with recognition for top workplace honors.

Shifts are part-time: Fridays and Sundays 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Mondays 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Rates start at $20 per hour and include a comprehensive benefits package on the day of hire.

Qualifications

• Certification: CNA or CHHA per requirements.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, bend and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

• Spend time with seniors and provide direct personal care.
• Join or lead activities with residents.
• Track care and tasks using electronic health record system.
• Assist housekeeping with light cleaning and dining support.
• Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

Part Time: Fridays and Sundays: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Mondays and Sundays: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Rates start at $20 per hour

WHAT OUR RESIDENT CARE ASSOCIATES DO:

• Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care
• Join or lead fun activities of your choice with the residents
• Track care and other tasks with our easy-to-use electronic health record system
• Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services
• Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services, as needed
• Work each day across all of our departments to create an atmosphere of cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)**
• Physical requirements : Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
