Job summary

Cape Cod Senior Residences is seeking compassionate Resident Care associates to provide direct personal care to our senior residents in a supportive environment. Part-time shifts include Fridays and Sundays: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Mondays and Sundays: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Rates start at $20 per hour. Our comprehensive benefits begin at hire, including health insurance, PTO, holiday pay, and a company match retirement plan.

Qualifications

• CNA or CHHA certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
• Punctuality and reliability expected in daily living activities.
• Ability to assist with personal care and activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Spend time with seniors and provide direct personal care.
• Join or lead activities with residents.
• Document care and tasks in the electronic health record system.
• Assist housekeeping with light duties and dining support.
• Escort residents to meals and help with dining services as needed.
• Collaborate across departments to foster cooperation and respect.

Rates start at $20 per hour

WHAT OUR RESIDENT CARE ASSOCIATES DO:

• Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care
• Join or lead fun activities of your choice with the residents
• Track care and other tasks with our easy-to-use electronic health record system
• Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services
• Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services, as needed
• Work each day across all of our departments to create an atmosphere of cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)**
• Physical requirements : Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
