Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
- Allnew hires start at $19.00/hour.
- Newhires placed in LSR homes may be eligible for a pay differential, up to$1.50/hour. Pay is based on:
- Hours workedin LSR homes only.
- Completionof required training.
- Meetingall LSR program requirements.
Caregiver Job Responsibilities
Direct Support Professionals (DSP) provide in home servicesto youth with range of mental capabilities. Under the supervision of theProgram Manager, the responsibilities include:
- Teachingand coaching individuals according to habilitative plans.
- Assistingwith or providing basic living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personalhygiene & medication.
- Providingsupervision & engagement.
- Facilitatingcommunity outings.
Caregiver Job Requirements
For this position you must:
- Haveat least six months of similar experience working directly with vulnerablepopulations
- Beable to demonstrate basic computer skills
- Excellentwritten and verbal English language skills
- 21years of age
- Have avalid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and three yearsof licensed driving experience
- Have aHigh School Diploma or GED
- Pass abackground check through DSHS & DCYF
- Beavailable to work at least one weekend shift per week
