Job summary

Hope is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with a range of needs in in-home settings. Training is provided; weekends and all shifts are available. The position offers competitive hourly pay and a robust benefits package.

Responsibilities include teaching daily living skills, supervising activities, and facilitating community outings, with emphasis on compassionate, respectful care and patient engagement.

Qualifications

• Be able to demonstrate basic computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
• 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and three years of licensed driving experience.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass a background check through DSHS.
• Be available to work at least one weekend shift a week.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and coaching individuals according to habilitative plans.
• Assisting with basic living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene and medication.
• Providing supervision and engagement.
• Facilitating community outings.
