Responsibilities

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household functions to help individuals remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, hair care, oral hygiene, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Report observations of the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when traveling for work.
• Assist with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Education And Experience

• Six months experience in home care preferred.
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation.

License Requirements

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Current CPR certification.

• Ability to work flexible hours as required.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, or other characteristics.
• Able to work independently.
