We are seeking compassionate Caregivers to offer one-on-one support, companionship, or personal care to our in-home patients in Louisville, KY and nearby areas such as Hurstbourne, PRP (Pleasure Ridge Park), Jeffersontown, Mt. Washington, Highlands, Glenview, Hillview, and Middletown.

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household tasks to help individuals remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Report observations of the client's condition to the agency director or manager.
• Drive safely, follow traffic laws, and wear a seat belt when traveling for work.
• Assist with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Experience Desired

• Six months of home care experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation.

License Requirements

• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation.
• Current CPR certification.

State Specific Requirements

• KY: No additional requirements.

Skill Requirements

• Flexibility to work hours as needed to meet client needs.
• Ability to work independently in any home situation.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
