BrightStar Care of St. Croix Valley & Hudson is hiring Weekend Caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care for seniors and adults who wish to remain safely at home.

Join a supportive team with nurse oversight, ongoing training, and benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match. Weekend morning and evening shifts available; local travel required. Competitive pay and weekly pay with direct deposit.

Competenze

• Must have current CNA or HHA certification and CPR.
• English communication is essential for client interaction.
• Demonstrated HIPAA compliance and ability to maintain client confidentiality.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

Mansioni

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation and safety supervision.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities.
• Help with light housework and meal preparation as needed.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor.
• Follow individualized care plans while preserving dignity and independence.

Available Shifts:

• Weekday Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Weekday Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Weekend Shifts available
• Additional weekday opportunities shifts are available!

Responsibilities:

As a Weekend Caregiver, you will:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and safety supervision
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Help with light household tasks and meal preparation as needed
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the Director of Nursing
• Follow individualized care plans while maintaining client dignity and independence

Qualifications:

• Current CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
• Minimum of one year of caregiving experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)
• Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality
