Job summary

BrightStar Care of St. Croix Valley & Hudson is hiring compassionate caregivers for weekend morning and evening shifts in Minnesota. You will provide one-on-one care and be supported by a team that values caregivers while offering flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

We offer health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and ongoing training. Local travel to clients in Washington and St. Croix Counties is required.

Qualifications

• Current CNA or HHA certification preferred
• Minimum one year caregiving experience preferred
• Strong communication and English language skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and safety supervision
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Help with light household tasks and meal preparation as needed
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the Director of Nursing
• Follow individualized care plans while maintaining client dignity and independence

Available Shifts:

• Weekday Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Weekday Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Weekend Shifts available
• Additional weekday opportunities may be available

• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)
• Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality
